Subframe Bolts
Another newbie question from yours truly!
Thought I would start my long-awaited polyurethane bush insert project today. I have managed to get the OSF one done and then went to do the NSF. I miserly invested in a 400W Impact Wrench whose maximum torque figure is 350NM. This doen't free it. Should this rating be enough to free the Subframe bolt on a 2006? Or do I need more grunt? Do I start heating the bolt to try and shift it. Bit concerned as I don't want to sheer the head off the thing and then look/feel worse than I already do! |
