240 windows

Hi

The windows (drivers side manual wind-up) has dropped slightly at the front, before I start stripping the door anyone has similar experience? Advice comments or laughter appreciated ;-)

I'm presuming it's the channel attached to the glass?

A new window job or a repair job?

New channel available from Volvo - otherwise swap glass and channel for secondhand unit.

Thanks for your replies.
SMW Volvo here in Belfast is quoting £54.50 plus vat!

So I think I'll try the scrapyards first. There is a 260 volvo in the local yard, what parts are comparable to the 240 and will the window fit?

Windows between all 240s & 260s will fit - check for the tint though.
