So do people tend to make their own way there or get together in small groups en-route?
I hope to be coming from Windsor so I guess that's mostly A404M / M40 all the way (yaawwwnnn) Tony |

Would be nice to meet up with members en-route , just as long as they dont zoom away at break neck speeds . My Torslanda likes 80 at the most !

I read tonight on the VOC site that there is to be a calvalcade to Gayton on the 2nd of September at 11.00am. I am looking forward to this event. Who else is going and is to join the calvacade and does anyone have any info yet about any arrangements.
See you there.

A bit of confusion here I think. The 11.00am cavalcade is probably going around the Gaydon site - the event opens at 10.00am. Andy Rowlands has suggested a convoy from the Southbound M40 Warwick services, subject to sufficient interest. This convoy would be Amazons only so we could all drive into Gaydon together. Andy - is it on? If so what time should we arrive? I will be coming from the South but don't mind the extra 10 miles up to the Services, turning round at Junction 13 to come back to the services. Any other Southern Amazon Owners want to meet up at Cherwell Valley services to convoy up and down the M40? All we need to do is to set up the times. __________________

Not 100% yet so we'll see.

Surely that should be VOLVO AGEIST!! The Amazon is 50 years old this year, so it can now go on Saga holidays! We Amazon drivers need to travel together in case the Old Things breakdown!
