To avoid confusion, Angeltuning remap the existing ECU, it is not a box that you plug in.

After the remap the power is probably around 185bhp and torque has increased by maybe 20%.

However, du to the sluggish 5speed auto gearbox it does not feel that impressive but still helpful to get in roundabout and it drives very progressively accross the rev range.

As for fuel consumption on a trip to South of France, with 4 children and a roobox we got almost 400 miles from a full tank (this is on motorway at 85 to 90MPH). Around town a full tank will last for about 330 miles (my wife has a heavy foot !)
In my opinion and regardless of these figures, the driveability has improved a lot.

I hope this help.

Agreed - its the driveability that really changes - it doesnt turn into a rocket ship. I thought it felt a bit weak when I test drove it, the remap made it feel how I thought it should have in the first place.

Watch your insurance though.

I have a Tunit box for sale if you would be interested. It's a "V-CR" and all info available on Tunit homepage.

It's approx 2 months old and comes with all papers, box, connectors and everything. Takes 10 mins to fit.

I am selling due to wrong unit for my car.

Open to offers.

Thanks CHF for your answer,

So your fuel consumption is about 34mpg, it is the same like before remap... that's right?

It is very expensive remap the ECU?

The car was remapped almost as soon as we got it and can not say if fuel consumption improved or not but I know the guys at Angeltuning quite well and they do remap for fuel economy as opposed to performance increase (check they website). I don't think that the trip computer has ever shown 34mpg but again it all depends on your driving style.

I seem to recall that remaps are between £300 and £400 but if you can manage to gather a few friends to have their car remapped you will get a group discount.
