The last 2 weekends we have stayed at 2 local caravan club sites and on both we had the newest car and oldest caravan .

To us our caravan is a good size but compared to the modern ones shes tiny .

Default love the outfit

What a lovely combination! The cheltenham is quite a van is in fantastic condition, would look equally good behind a 145 too? .

Reminds me of my childhood caravanning with a safari and volvo combination.

Take care and enjoy

244T this is a pic of our other Volvo towing our Cheltenham Nyala , The caravan is 1967 and the car is 1968 .

We think they look good together but the best of it is they are not showpieces but functional and usable and we enjoy them .

Default Now that looks good!!!

Your last pic with the period Volvo does look good!! as another point the first tow car we had was a Mk 1 Triumph 2000 of 1967 vintage, a good car all in all but this was eventually sold and replaced with a 1973/4 Volvo 144. This was the first of a long succession of Volvos, in fact farther never bought another marque! I am continuing the tradition and enjoying it too!, i do have a caravan too but only seam to find time for our anual two week holiday in it each year.

Thanks again for posting your pictures
