Default Brakes - intermittent sticking

Hello all,

Been away for a while - very busy and the V40 has been running well!

Until now...

Not a biggie - my offside front brake is intermittently sticking. Having no tools and no space I haven't checked it out fully, but it's definitely just that side - the disc feels (very) hot if it has been sticking.

So my guess is that it's probably the caliper sticking? I'll probably stick new discs and pads on the front anyway, but is it possible that the caliper is in good order but just needs regreasing? If I have a garage fit new discs and pads, is this an easy enough task to do at the same time?

Or is it likely the caliper is shot and needs replacing?

Any tips on discs and pads to buy? Some fairly cheap Pagid and Eicher ones on eurocarparts - any good?

Thanks!
