Does the illustration show a small square pad of rubber stuck to the yaw sensor?
My 2003 XC90 already had this fitted. The correct procedure is to note the fault codes, clear the fault codes, drive the car around and then note what codes return. If it was caused by rough roads or the seat being slammed back you won't see the same codes return and so I would think that's when the dampener would need to be fitted. The new yaw sensor will have the rubber pad already stuck on it. Check out my photos posted earlier to see the rubber pad. Roy
