Does the illustration show a small square pad of rubber stuck to the yaw sensor?
My 2003 XC90 already had this fitted. The correct procedure is to note the fault codes, clear the fault codes, drive the car around and then note what codes return. If it was caused by rough roads or the seat being slammed back you won't see the same codes return and so I would think that's when the dampener would need to be fitted. The new yaw sensor will have the rubber pad already stuck on it. Check out my photos posted earlier to see the rubber pad. Roy

No, it's under the Entertainment computer unit. Not sure what the correct term for it is. (If you have the mid or top range audio system.) On my UK spec car it's under the driver seat. Maybe under the front passenger seat on a US spec. It's the thing with the big black shiny heatsink bolted to the floor. The yaw sensor is well back in the hole that's revealed once you remove the computer.

ABS Service - message
So are all messages associated with ABS service, brake assist service required etc all down to this little bit of kit and are up for replacement under Volvo's warranty?
