First service cost?
I'm not sure of service costs but I've been quoted £335 for the first years service. Does this seem a fair price?

my first thought as well! To be more helpful, I don't know what the service covers to judge the cost, but it is worth trying a couple of dealers and especially any 'independents' (not that many exist now) as they are generally a bit cheaper. It's also worth 'inviting' them to give you a discount (if you don't ask you don't get!).

I've just paid £599 for 5 years on my New XC60. Something of a bargain I think. It also includes beak down cover.

The breakdown cover was something I forgot to ask about at the time. Can anyone confirm that the £500 deal I went for (Volvo not dealer) includes it.

Service costs in London will always be higher than rest of UK. But remember, a dealer service includes 12 months breakdown cover (and it is a top notch cover) which would probably be £150 (ish) if bought separate. Therefore, £185 (again ish) for a premium car service isn't too bad???
