To be fair my car has been really good with very few software issues on Sensus over the 10 months. I just hope what I saw the other day was just a blip and it was quite a strange coincidence it was on the rare occasion my wife drove the car as the only thing she had changed was the seating position.

It does appear quite random. For some people it appears to happen either frequently and/or many times in a short space of time. For others it happens rarely if at all.

When I got the first S90 it was fine for about a week, then it started happening 2-3 times almost every time I drove the car. At that point the system just froze, and I had to stop, switch the engine off open/shut the door (often which did not shut sensus down) and sometimes leave it for 5+ mins before it would sort itself out and could be used again. Imagine that every couple of miles!

The second S90 lasted about 2 weeks before it to started having issues. At least by this time a s/w upgrade was in place so that the system rebooted, rather than just freezing solid.

Again, it started happening on almost every trip. But the most I have experienced is 2, or maybe 3, reboots on-the-trot - though I am sure I recall others have reported on here 8, 9, 10 or maybe more (not searched to confirm though).

But, as I said before, since the May update it has only rebooted twice, both on the same trip and both whilst I was turning round on the drive (so loss of 360 camera was annoying). Since then it has been fine.

Hopefully yours was just a blip. And hopefully the next full CANbus s/w upgrade will banish this issue for good

If I had had your issues I would be climbing the walls.
