Default B20 type slotted alternator adjuster bar

Wanted as per title. This adjuster bar has a dog-leg at the head fixing end and is used when the alternator is used on the fuel pump side. I'm hoping it will be suitable for use with a small Denso alternator when fitted to the normal dynamo side on a B18.
I should be at the Stratford BKV tomorrow if that helps. Thanks.

Hi derek

If I find any spare ones I will let you know but I suspect I have enough adjuster bars to pair up with the alternators I have within my spares , unless your desperate and I will make one available for you naturally

Kind regards
Robert.W

Thanks Rob. I have a few straight ones, so a vice and B*H may solve the problem.

Hi

These adjusters only came in the Golfs. Someone may have adapted this one for this motor. Volvo always had a plain bar

Cool

Haven't checked, but I think it has a dog leg in the parts book.

Cool

Kassie had better have a closer look at a UK B20.
Some Golfs have a rather crafty geared adjustment which allows accurate adjustment rather than a bar behind the dynamo or alternator and doing it a few times before you get it just right.
As you say Si the parts book shows the dog leg at the head end.
