Default M41 gearbox wanted

Dear All, anyone have a 4speed + OD gearbox they're wanting to sell? My M40's making some very non-factory designed grumbling noises. Rgds, Andrew

I've got one on ebay at the minute, ends Sunday. With d type o/d/bellhousing, remote linkage etc. Have a search, I don't want to link to it as i don't think that's very pc.

Thanks,

Dave

I have a couple of spare OD boxes here but both have M40 on the plate underneath. Don't know differences but both have the long-throw gear levers as in the Amazon, and small-diameter flanges for the prop. What's the diameter of the flange on your prop?
However I have a couple of (I think) M41 boxes with the remote on top for the short-throw gear levers at my store, which I have to visit over the weekend. I can check and report back if interested: I can photograph but not put on Forums so would need your email address to send.
Can fetch box to Redhill if that makes collection easier. Please feel free to comment.

Hi David, thanks for note - have seen your 'box on ebay, it's just a shame you're all the way in Falmouth otherwise I'd have bought it. Thank you, Andrew

Hi Paul, thank you too for the quick reply. I'll pm you and if possible could I view this coming w/e? It's okay if the 'box is either M40 or M41 as would simply like a good OD 'box to replace my grumbly 4speed. Will check prop' flange diameter and understand this needs shortening...unless you have an OD prop' too?? If so, would be happy to donate a few golden groats for the rop'. For ref' my mobile number is 07500.118789

Rgds
