Thanks! Yes, some work and some pleasure. Vietnam being the latter taking a couple of days off.

I always tend to spot Volvos wherever I am. Seen them in deepest Africa too (Ethiopia).

Just a silly update. Having just enjoyed Taiwan for a few days, this got to be one of Volvo's better markets in Asia (2nd after China?) as the amount of Volvo's here are truly remarkable!

I have seen 240, 740, 940, 960, S40, V40 (current), V60, S60 (all), S80, new S90 and V90 as well as the CC and the usual XC60 and XC90. Volvo heaven in Asia!

What I didnt see was any V70.....

Oh, some of them were diesels but mostly petrols.

Just had my delivery confirmed as first week November instead of end of September. Gutted. Thinking back I was given date by dealer when I placed order on 14 August before he even put order through.

Back at Stockholm Arlanda Airport so decided to have a look what tyres are fitted to the XC60 they keep in the departure hall......

Inscription wheels, 20" - Michelin Latitude Sport 3.

Have a feeling this is what everyone will be getting when having 20" wheels. Certainly on the Inscription.

Mine was ordered mid June, expected on the 15th September , so your new delivery date sounds about right. Feel for you though, it will be worth the wait I'm sure.
On the bright side my has been brought forward by a Month, so you might be lucky as well.

Have heard further from dealer today. Problem is with wheels and driftwood and lower spec cars and options are coming through earlier as a result.

Well mine is an Inscription with drift wood trim, but only 19" diamond cut wheels, and like I said ordered in June.

Saw my first new-generation XC60 today in Dunfermline. It stood out in a subtle, yet very good way!

Had a pleasant surprise, dealer confirmed that the car is due to them as agreed all along for 12th September, last two X60,s both took over five months with all the usual excuses.
This is an Inscription Pro, but silver trim, also D4 and was from a long list the dealer had preordered.
Will sort out details next week, but off to France, so collection will be towards end of month.
