Default Wing mirror V90

I managed to clip my wing mirror on a tree, the actual housing is pristine, but the mirror itself is cracked.

I have did the google but apparently, these mirrors are rarer than hens teeth.

Its it simply a case of going to a volvo garage and no doubt being reamed for a piece of mirror?

If you have BLIS then yes, it's going to hurt. If not, it'll probably still hurt as they are auto dimming not just normal glass.

I seem to recall paying nearly £300 for a mirror glass on my C70 back in 2009 - that was dimming, bliss and heated element, only available as a complete glass unit.

Mine do dim although I don't know if that is as standard or an option. Try shining a torch at the mirror when it's dark, or drive along at night and wait for the inevitable Audi driver with main beam driving an inch from your rear bumper.

It was an on-cost option on mine, they work particularly well too.

I think all mine do is warm up occasionally (sadly not when they are wet like my beemer did before). I certainly didn't have any options ticked for the mirrors.

They should come on with the rear screen heater, which you can turn on when the mirrors are wet. Or at any time.
