  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default headlamp switch

Hi is there anybody able to tell me can the light switch be swapped for another one with out hassle on an s80 w plate 2.4 auto.
not my car but an old friend i bumped into today has just purchased above vehicle both front and rear fog lights not working he thinks its the switch have tried looking for information about it all day no joy.

yes you can change them.they do come apart very easy to check clean

I had the same issue, 99 S80. Changed it straight out for a new (well ebay new) switch panel and it's worked fine since touch wood.

Just make sure you get the one with both switches and not the blanking panels. I guess if your good at soldering you could put two new switches on and check the rest of the board, alas I'm crap at at :P
