It's only because i read the vin wrong lol,

Just the insurance companies kept saying it was a 2319cc when quoting the reg number, and the log book states 2401cc so wanted to correct for the insurance purposes.

I've had a couple of instances when the insurance database is wrong. Only minor things like model variation but ones which can make differences to premiums. Also worries me as in the event of a claim I'm sure they'd quickly bring up the fact that the spec is different on the actual car to the paperwork. My car changed from auto to manual a couple of years ago, no idea how!
The insurance database can be changed, if you tell the company you're getting a quote from they will pass it to their back-room people to sort out.

With the DVLA, just make the changes on the registration document and send it back, they're used to this, people fit different engines, change paint colours etc The onus is on you to supply the correct information.

Yes the difference in price with the AA insurance 2391cc £365 Fully comp, 2401cc £914 fully comp.

So have manually entered the car details and got £331 Fully on the 2401cc which is on the logbook through AXA.

Dvla has updated the website and it shows 2401cc when I taxed it yesterday at Leeds so the insurance companies should be getting the correct information aswell.
