Drive shafts - OEM or aftermarket
The drivers side CV gaitor has split and there is a reverberation noise when lifting off the throttle (I think or the grease has escaped and the bearings are no worn)
Does anyone have any good quality aftermarket brands they can recommend? OEM is £461 plus vat and you have to send back your old shaft. I have seen prices as low as £75 for aftermarket. I have always fitted OEM parts but with the cost of this one part I am tempted to look elsewhere! |

I've used J+R who are very cheap without any problems but that was on much lighter cars than an XC90.
I'd stay genuine but just use a reputable breaker like Huddersfield Volvo Breakers etc.
