ETM Issues Discuss issues regarding the problems with ETMs fitted to Volvo cars.

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Boomy Member Last Online: Feb 22nd, 2020 11:26 Join Date: Apr 2013 Location: Kent	1998 V70 T5 Auto Just wondering if all ETM issues are the same and exactly what I should be looking for or whether I should be worried. I picked the car up on 158k miles and it still pulls like a train and has mostly main dealer FSH.However, when you stop at traffic lights for example, the idle can hunt and goes a fraction over 1k rpm and a fraction under.If you take the auto box out of drive and put it in park or neutral, it seems to hunt far less (or simply not at all) and mostly sits ticking over happily. Is this a bad sign, or could this be related to something else?
