Wow dodgyken - that has put my mind at ease.

Dazzelv70 - we havent been quoted a wait time as such, but we can't change our car until June so think there is plenty of time. We have gone for glacier blue. Had thought about seashell but seeing them together the glacier clinched it.

Thanks for responding fellas.
It's Auto-mobile, Cold Hesledon Ind Est, 0191 5815777. www.automobile-northeast.com

Seems a really decent bloke, who was recommended by a couple of towbar manufacturers at the recent caravan & boat show

Thanks for that Sandancer.

Had the Volvo dealer on the phone today saying that Volvo have discontinued the glacier blue colour that we had chosen, so we are now going with our original choice of seashell (gold really). Disappointed about the blue though.

I tried a guy at Cold Hesledon who said there shouldn't be any probs with the lower suspension on the R-Design and quoted around £290 for a Witter detachable with 13 pin electrics. He even has the gear for re-mapping if required.
Just wondered Sandancer if you got this fella at Cold Hesledon to fit your tow bar. We have now taken delivery of our Seashell R-design V70 (just love it) and are looking to get the tow bar fitted.

If you did use him, were you happy with the result.

Absolutely spot on....I stood and watched him as he fitted it and he explained everything and was very thorough and best of all it works a treat.
