Default Locking Wheel Nut Snapped

Hi, so my trusty old V70 was going to have new brakes put on today. That was until the locking wheel nut key snapped when attempting to remove them
Does anyone know how to get these off without a key?

Thank you.

These are the spinning collar McGuards? No spinning collars can be undone with hammering a 12 spline socket with the right size on them.
For spinning collars I took it to a shop where they drilled a hole in the middle and cut a reverse thread into.
Might also get away with turning the other 4 bolts slightly loose and driving little strips to stretch the locking nut loose but that's not something I have tried myself.

This sorted me out a few weeks ago. Well worth the money.

Have a look and see what he uses ... I bet it's one of those tools I linked to you!

Well he arrived and had them off in around 5 minutes
He had a big hammer and used some sort of tool ive never seen before, Said he makes his tools himself.

Made me feel a bit silly how quickly he had them off.

Don't feel silly, James. That's why you pay them. They can do things with tools you don't have.

Pleased you got it sorted.

This only works with no spinning collars. My P2 had spinning collars so they can't be turned by the outer edge unless the collar is somehow(?) removed or secured to the bolt.

That's worth knowing.
