S40 Seat Replacement
Hi All,
Have had a quick search though the threads and can't find an answer so was wondering if anyone knew if the V50 and S40 seats are interchangeable? The front seats in my S40 are starting to crack and tear. I have been looking for some replacements on E-Bay and the S40 ones are currently out of my price range but the V50 ones are a little closer. Any info / help / advice gratefully received. |

I'm not sure what T-Tec upholstery is. I have the R-Design, two tone leather, seats. Drivers seat leg bolsters are cracked and split. Will do some further research I think.

unless you have the lux full leather, you have ttec. Little strip of stitched leather in middle. neoprene ttec bolsters that tend to crack and tear at seams.

split upholstery
[QUOTE=iainmd;2627637]I'm presuming you have T-Tec upholstery? Our driver seat bolster cracked and I got the seat retrimmed by a local company for £90.
My 2009 V70 has splits in the upholstery. I suspect it is T-Tec upholstery and I know this is a common problem. If I could get the driver's seat repaired for £90 I would be delighted. Where is your "local company"? Does anyone else know of a solution? Are seat covers available? Can anyone recommend an upholsterer in the UK? At present I have sheepskin covers which conceal the most glaring damage. |
