Default XC60 D5 2010 Drivetrain noise.

Could do with some adivce.

My car 152K mile D5 XC60 AWD has very recently started making drivetrain noise.

Pulling away from stationary I can hear a rubbing/scraping noise (bearing?)

At higher speeds I can hear and feel a rhythmical knocking similar to a CV joint failure normally off power, steering slightly to the left.

Initially I thought it was the inner CV joint on the front RH driveshaft, but I replaced that yesterday and it didn't fix the problem.

I'm now tempted to think it's either the diff in front TF-80SC gearbox or the transfer box... any suggestions for troubleshooting and or replacement.

If I source a replacement gearbox, must I use a TF-80SC or can I use a TF-80SD and just swap the TCM??

It doesn't sound like wheel bearings as you get the clack clack noise... but could be diff...

Thanks
