Superb garage service

For one Volvo to develop a fault serious enough to put it off the road is rare but to have it happen to both our S70 and S90 within a matter of hours of each other, well that has to be really unlucky.

But the S70 developed a front wheel clatter that turned out to be a broken ABS reluctor ring, while the S90 endured a seized aux belt idler, which promptly shredded the belt. With work commitments and a mum-in-law with a vital hospital appointment things were looking decidedly problematic.

Absolutely top marks to Dyrdal’s of York who, despite having a full workshop, got both cars back on the road within a matter of hours with the minimum of fuss and the provision of a loan car, all at a really good price.

So often garages are the subject of complaint and it’s easy to forget that there good ones out there. It’s genuinely a real pleasure to be able to thank and congratulate Dyrdal’s on their first class customer service.

Good to hear you got sorted and so promptly too.As you say all too often we hear things like "Don't use this garage or that garage as they're useless/incompetent/rip off merchants" so it's always good to hear personal recommendations for those that give good service.
