Getting tight on time..

It doesn't look like there's enough time gap for online deliveries, so I may have to resort to what's available nearby..

Brake grease.

I know not to use copper grease, so..

Is this any good?

Also..

A thing that puzzles me slightly..

Meyle drop links.

I half expected to see thorx sockets inside threaded shafts.

For counterholding when tightening the nuts.

None?

I think you should find that the drop links have spanner flats on the shaft of the ball joint (by the rubber boot end) to take a spanner for counterhold. At least my Meyle HD drop links did...
You may need a slim spanner to do this but it does work well. Just be careful of damaging the rubber boot.

How does one pull off CV joint?

I expected a notch to insert screwdriver, in order to release circlip..

Nope...

Ideas?
