The car is an entirely unmodified Torslanda, by the way.
it feels a lot more responsive and the feel through the steering wheel is more responsive and stiffened up. I can still access all the main service parts such as fluid reservoirs, oil cap and oil filter. engine can still be jacket up if needed for example engine mounts if need be. So far no complaints.

I do like a good throwing around the bends and it feels more "secure", it feels like better responsiveness and flex has been eliminated. No doubt it will add in security in the worst case scenario since the brace will prob hold the struts in pretty much the location they are in. More likely that the struts themselves will bend/snap before the tops do

Thor. I'm puzzled. The photograph in your post here and your previous post in general 200 discussion, looks uncannily like the same installation in the same car as the photograph(s) previously shown by MI 1990. Have you bought that car from MI 1990, or am I due to visit my optometrist? Or well, I do get confuddled as is known.

Thor has kindly let me use his pictures for my sign as his engine bay is far cleaner and nicer than my cars bay. There for shows off the brace better than my scrappy looking engine bay does. Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, was going to PM you but i don't have enough posts yet.

Hi,
I'm interested in your strut braces for the 240 when i get a bit further along in my project. Only problem is i don't have a standard engine, and was wondering if you would be willing to let me purchase it, try it, and if it doesn't fit return it?
This probably won't be for a couple of months as im currently painting the engine bay with the engine out. Just trying to work out budgets for everything.

Thanks,
Tom

Yes i suppose i could do that. What engine is going in? If u sent me pictures closer to the time i could probably work out if it would fit before sending it u.
Cheers

What is it? I cant even tell. Theyll be no problem on the engine or inlet, the only possible problem may be the master cylinder resevoir u are using, whats that from? I do two different kinds, one with a seperate one piece gt type bar, which is to clear the bigger later resevoir bottles. U would be able to tell if that one would fit by sticking something like a broom handle across from the rear stud to the bulkhead mounts and seeing if it hits it. My other solid welded one has the bar further inward toward the engine. I could send u some pictures and u again could roughly run something across to see if looks like it would hit

Nissan CA18DET by the looks of it.......interesting. Loving the JDM style gold glitter engine bay.

It is Antz, well spotted.

The brake servo, master cylinder and clutch master cylinder are all out of a Nissan Silvia S15.
