Paintwork on this car is mostly original and as you can see from the photos it is in incredibly good order for a 1980 car. It has got some oxidation and patina in places which add to the character of the car. It has had the drivers side rear arch replaced/repaired before my ownership and I just recently had both the inner and outer rear arch replaced on the passenger side by my local bodyshop with parts from Brookhouse Classic Volvo parts. Other than that the car is solid in all areas and does not require any other work.

The car currently has the square headlights one of which has just been replaced due to condensation within it.

UK spec round headlights and cowls available should you wish to have them instead.

1980 plastic drivers door mirror replaced with the 1979 model year chrome item, the plastic mirrors including a passenger one available if required.

The vehicle has the original Volvo FM/MW radio and everything within the car works as it should. The engine runs smoothly, always starts 1st time and the gear change is positive and without issue having benefited from a new clutch less than 500 miles ago.

Spare wheel, toolkit etc are complete in the boot and in good condition.

Car can be sold without the Gottis and on good condition 240 GLT Virgo rims if you want to add your own. Reluctant sale.

Don't know depends if they go with car or not. Not selling them beforehand.

Bumping this up as my circumstances have changed and it is for sale again.

The car was Mot'd on 15/10/16 with 42608 miles on the clock and has covered only 175 miles since then as can be seen in the pics.

The asking price remains as above but I will accept £2500 for the car without the wheels and adapter but on Virgos with 4 good tyres.

I will also be including the small amount of spares I have for the car along with the original suspension should someone want to take it back to stock.

For info of anyone from mainland UK. I am located 20 mins from Belfast City Airport and Belfast docks where the ferry leaves to Scotland and Liverpool and I can arrange a discount for the ferry.

That must be the very last of the older 244 before the facelift in 1981 model year ( launched in the last 1/3 rd of 1980 .) .
Those square headlamps are standard in UK for 1979 and 1980 model year by the way . the round ones with cowl are 1978 model year only .
