Default 2004 V40 Trailer Light Wiring Help

Hi - This is probably a simple thing to do - but where to I access the wires to connect the 4 pin wiring kit that I have purchased? Thanks for the help.

There's a 4-pin socket just below the rear nearside light - under the lining.

as mentioned, remove or just pull out the way the nearside boot lining, you'll see a white plug taped up, this is the main plug for trailer wiring, you'll also see 2 loops of wire (one purple cant remember the other) which you may have to cut and use depending on what functions your trailer uses, ie foglight hazards etc etc
