A week too late for the Winter Gala, Tom. My three brothers were there and, as usual, very good but very cold. Illness in the family prevented me joining them but hopefully will get to the October Gala.
Car looks great. |

Hi Dibble,
Thanks for your kind words about the car. Would of been nice to make the gala but our plan was always to travel up last weekend in the Amazon from Swindon to join the South Yorkshireman dining service, which I thoroughly recommend to all. Tom |

A few
A few pictures I took while out. The only one in motion is the first highway trip I took with her while heading back in along with the traffic on the George Washington bridge. I will have to get some action shots. The Amazons look best in motion.
GW Traffic.jpg A summer visit up to Hudson, NY visiting friends. Caught from a window showing up. Hudson.jpg Snapped a picture when I pulled over in midtown a few weeks ago. The theatre traffic just north was abusive. Stop and start. We needed a break after we escaped that. It's not a city car. It says so in the manual. Midtown.jpg If anyone comes across another SEV Marchal cover for that spotlight, let me know. Had an eye open for months. |

Had a smashing day out at Castle Combe car boot a month or so ago, and nice to take Sven back there, as longtime owner Paul Snook raced him around the circuit, with a highly tuned engine (he's now got a B18 with twin SUs):
We're going to do the Bath Festival of Motoring this Saturday, so if you're around, come and say hello! Last edited by SvenSomerset; Jun 15th, 2017 at 14:43. |
