Okay, thanks I wasn't aware of that new reg'.

To test the PCV when it's warmed up, with engine running at tick-over remove the oil filler cap. If smoke comes out it is a good sign the PCV is blocked. Pull dipstick too and see if that lets out smoke.
Or put a latex glove over the fill spout see if it inflates......

As an aside do you use vlf-fr forum at all?
Cheers.

Okay i tried that and no smoke came out whatsoever.

I reconnected strongly the white vacuum line of the boost gauge ( there are two one on the dash and an aftermarket one ).
This time the car run great the reading i got were -0,7 bar at iddle and about 0,7/0,6 bar on WOT. I wouldn't go further on 1,2 and 3 gear but on 4th it as soon as it was going over 0,7 it would back down again and the car was kinda shaking on the acceleration.

All the lines looks super new and the rubber feel very spongy and not dry. Also all the hoses are silicon. Is there another to identify where the leak could come from ?

I changed the rims for winter ( they are t5r rims ) and the clicking noise which we believed to be a wheel bearing stopped. So no more front noise now

Good news about the clicking - perhaps you have a small dent in the other alloys then?

Regarding the leak, if its not the vacuum lines or the hoses I am not sure, but it does still sound like a vacuum leak - especially given it improved slightly when you fixed one vacuum line. I'd also check the routing, especially to the TCV.

Yup there was a dent in the alloy, good guess !

I checked again the dipstick open with the engine running with a light and actually saw a tiny bit of smoke coming out but it is very very tiny.

Ordered all the parts for the stage 0 and so PCV is going to be changed better not take risk as it is a road trip car.

I echo this. When I got my 850R, it would boost to ~.6 then drop off. The hoses to the TCV looked to be correct, but I discovered the TCV had been replaced with a different type, and the connections were in a different order. After swapping them around, I experienced full, sustained boost on a wet road.... the smile hasn't gone away

Is the TCV where the line are blue yellow red ?
I will check when i can.

But funny i am used to more powerful cars but even boosting around 0,7bar i feel there is a lot of power. And i can manage 7sec flat from 0 to 100km/h.

Maybe the car has a tune, cause it is mounted with blue silicone hoses, i found a kinda chip in the glove box and i am not sure there is a Cat.

Update on the car :

- I had a day when the car worked on 4 cylinders for about 10min before going back to 5. So i said enough and went to Volvo.
Ordered all the parts for a stage 0.
So i changed plugs, plugs cables, the stuff where the plug cables connect plus the thingy inside. The plugs were very rusty and one had the one of the electrode missing !!
I changed everything and it is now working so much better down low in the rpm range !

- One of the biggest french Volvo dealer is right next to my doorstep in Paris and when i arrived with the 855R all the employees, head mechanic, head of sales came. I kinda made friend with the head mechanic who said they had no more T5R or 850R for regular maintenance so they would gladly take care of mine if i sometimes let them exposed it in their showroom.
I am super happy, so early january i am gonna leave the car to them for a full maintenance, they even said that i could assist to learn how to work on the car.

Was that Pemzec dealer?

For parts over here autodoc do good offers. They have an app too.

There is also manauto in the Vendee I think. A Volvo specialist he has a web site, but wow are his 'occasions' expensive!
