Not being a party pooper but i had the same motor in the same colour blue but the 1988 model. This was about 2003.

The bad thing is it only returned around 18 to 20mpg .

I bought mine for £500 and gave it away 6 months later?

Errr! Yes you are a party pooper 960kg, in 2003 you could give em' away but I see no benefit in negativity when a chap is trying to offer his car on here to hopeful interested parties.
You've had a few 940's looking at your posts so they can't have been all bad........
Jim's car is Green by the way and I should think after owning it for over 6 years he's used to it's fuel consumption....................I'll get ma' coat............
