Default problems starting engine

not long had my volvo s40 05 1.8. It seems it might have an issue starting in the cold temperatures!

I have had the battery tested and it was ok. When turning the key the engine is turning but not firing up. I havent had a problem starting every time though only twice in a week.

To get it started when having the issue i have put the accelorator to the floor and started it up and both times that has worked.

Any ideas what is causing it to not to fire up

Thanks

as you are doing low mileage the plugs should have been changed on the 3rd year service in 2008 .

Buy the correct volvo plugs as they are improved over the ford plugs fitted at the factory .
