front roof light panel

Hi all

Been searching for the answer bat cant find any info so fingers crossed someone on here can help.

The front light roof panel there is a large blank insert that looks about the same size as the ford sunglasses holders dose anyone know what it is for and what is hidden behind. Really need somewhere to keep by shades and can find any of the grab handle one at a good price most out of stock for the 2005 ones now. They have to be hidden as I live in a dodgy area and would only last 5 minutes with one of the sun visor clips.

Iirc the old interior light has a sunglasses compartment, which had to be ordered from factory. You can still retrofit it
