Returning to volvo

I’m about to be back in the Volvo fold. (Although I kinda rejoined a year ago when my wife got her xc60 T8 model year 19)

Part exed my ‘60 plate xc60 D5 for a ‘65 bmw 520d m sport touring in June 2017.

Part exed the Bmw for a ‘69 plate V90 D4, collecting on Tuesday.

Look forward to chewing the fat on here again.

Hi.
I too just traded in my 520Msport touring for my 19 plate V90 R design in pearleasant white which I picked up 7 days ago. I must admit the tech, safety and features are impressive and very well thought out. Even little touches like auto wiper location on the stalks.
The remote start on the on call app is great.
First impressions are great.
Engine slightly less refined than the Beema but I knew that when reading the reviews.

First question!

I think the salesman said the service interval was 2 years, but I’m sure my wife’s xc60 needed a service after 12 months (only done 8k miles)

I’ve got the first two services thrown in, so it could be 3 years or 6 before I have to pay for one.

Service intervals are every 12 months (or sooner if exceed mileage).

Take out a service plan or expected to get shafted every 12 months.
