Interior fan on when car is locked!

Occasionally I keep coming back to my 2011 XC90 and finding the interior fan blowing when the car is locked and ignition off?
Just wondering if there’s a fault and it will eventually run the battery down.

It happens - something to do with clearing condensate from A/C or similar IIRC.

The Volvo system will shut it off before the battery runs down - don't worry (until your battery goes flat... )

That is the “After Blow” designed to dry out any condensation on the AC condenser so that the cabin climate control does not get smelly and musty.
Occurs something like 15min to 30min after you turn off the car.

it can be disabled in VIDA if you want to. But it is a huge benefit, so no point disabling it.
