Extended warranty providers
Hi, all.
My MY12 XC60 is just coming out of warranty (I bought a three year extension when I bought the car). Marshalls (the dealer I bought it from) have offered me an extension for a further year for £349 (payable in 10 monthly installments of £34.90). I am tempted to extend the warranty further but thought I would check here if anyone had tips around other providers of warranties for cars 6 years old (40k mileage, FSH,etc). Thanks in advance.

Extended warranty providers
I bought a 2013 XC60 back in January this year, granted only just over 4 years old at the time of purchase, but had 103,000 on the clock.
Even though the motor was covered for 3 months by the dealer I took out a further 12 month warranty with Motoreasy @ £324.00.... fingers crossed...have not had cause claim on it yet.

I also went with Motoreasy when I added 2 years to mine last summer. Similar price, 660 payable over 6 months.
Same “problem” for you though: not had to make any claim, so no real idea if I’ve done the right thing!!

I got a 3 month warranty with the car I just got and I paid to top it up to 1 year. It's with Momentum warranties and after doing a bit of research I think I'll cancel it under the cooling off period.
I've looked at Warrantywise this morning and the cover seems a lot better. |

Thanks for the replies. I renewed with my current provider (provided through Marshalls) as I got a few quotes which were all pretty similar (£350 for a further year) and I thought better the devil I know. The current Warranty has paid out a couple of times over the last three years so they seem reasonable to deal with.
