Default Semi Retired 240 GLE

My 1979 240 GLE has been sat waiting for me to restore her for way too long and realistically she has to go.
The car is 2.1 injection, manual overdrive and in that nice metallic blue colour with blue cloth upholstery. Hasn't run for many years though.
Is complete and has spare wings doors lights etc. Prior to laying up had the usual tatty rear wheel arches and lower back panel.
Needs trailering.
In south yorkshire, looking for somewhere around £250.
Call 07766554776 for more details, ask for Barry.

Any chance of some pics? I cant personally have it, but pictures will definitely generate interest and I like pics of pre 1980 240s!

Steve

You should think about buying it.

As well as normal spares, there would be lots of in-period upgrade parts for you car...
Power steering (?)
Overdrive gearbox
Fuel injection conversion, if you want to go that far.

And it would be a lovely feature on your Dad's front lawn (!!)

John, Dads front lawn (actually pebbled for extra parking!) currently occupies 3 cars, 1 van, 2 boats, and a trailer!

Nans drive is out of the question as it wouldnt be very 'Sandal like' to have an old volvo on the drive way...ohhh noo!! :P
