Default Urgent seat belt warning

Yesterday the car (58plate 70,000 miles) was showing a Engine System service required warning. The car was serviced 700 miles ago and has been running perfectly. The oil was not overfilled as the garage are aware of that issue on a D5.

Started the car today to take it to the garage. Up comes a Urgent Seat Belt Service warning. Took car to independent garage where their non-Volvo specific diagnostic gadget said that it referred to a problem with the internal control unit.

Before throwing money at this does anybody know something about this.

TIA

Have now found earlier threads about where to get this repaired. My wallet is feeling happier.

Angry SRS module

This unit went on my 2008 C30 when the car was 7 years old, After checking the net and seeing how expensive the solution is I contacted Volvo. They said they were UNAWARE of the problem. I suggested they check the net.
This is ridiculous! After having Mercedes - Audi - BMW i chose the Volvo due to its looks but it is a deluxe Ford - nothing more nothing less.
I have been having a starting problem for some time now. From what I have read, if an error code does not show the workshops are lost. From my experience this is a fuel problem however I cannot find test points to check the primer pressures and I have not seen any reference to these in any posts.
I will NEVER buy another Volvo!
