Thanks everyone, great feedback as always.

I've pretty much set my heart on a set of Polaris/Eiker... so I'm buying a set of Adhara alloys

I really dislike the Aries wheels currently fitted, but I quite like the Adhara. I'm getting them from a VOC member and it looks like the tyres fitted are half decent Continentals as well which is nice. I'll get the Adharas refurbed so they'll be spot on as I don't expect to find any Polaris in the immediate future Even then, it looks like I'll be wrestling with Baggy for any that pop up

So if anyone wants a set of 15"x6" Aries wheels in very good condition (not excellent, there are some minor kerb marks evident) fitted with virtually as new UniRoyal RainExpert tyres, let me know.

I'll advertise them formally once they're off the car (ie next year).

Did you not see the post on your fb post with the Polaris? Or was he joking you?

You also had offers for Gemini and Galaxies, pretty good response.

Yes, I got quite excited at first.

The Geminis are in Oman - how do you arrange the wheel/money exchange between two strangers on different continents who don't trust each other?

The seller of the Galaxies wants £1k for them (!!!). And he's in Kent which is a bit awkward as I'm in Yorkshire. He's considering his price, but even so, I don't think I'm going to go for them as I really want a 'star' style wheel. If anyone wants the Galaxies, let me know and I'll put you in touch.

This has focussed my mind though - I really want the star type wheel, so I'm fitting the Adharas until I find a nice set of Azev As or Geminis. I'm in no rush, so we'll see what pops up in due course

Just to close this off, I've found the wheels I'm going to buy

I felt a bit dizzy when I saw that picture! I'm in love

Available new from Sweden, so I'm not looking any more thanks.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions, it is genuinely appreciated.

On the Hydra? I'll have to check, there were 2 sizes of plastic centre cap

edit -

The Hydra centre cap is part number 1343 663-9 - shared with Orion and Adhara

If you mean the Barzettas, then I doubt they're cast to allow that specifically, but I'm sure there'll be a way to stick a badge on

Most wheels seem to use a similar size centre cap, I stuck Volvo centre caps (rare mk2 ones) on my mk3 360 when I fitted ats cups to it.
