  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

As you said, there doesn't appear to be the bit that sticks up, but you've still got the problem of having Volvo confirm you've had the recall done or your car will look like it has an outstanding recall.
You could try sending them that photo and see what they say.
I suspect if they have no record they will want to see it in person, as anyone could have done anything to the seatbelt, and they will essentially be signing off the work. So if it were to fail in an accident they could become liable.

I understand what you're saying, but I think you'll struggle to get them to agree to that.
On that argument everyone having the recall done, should charge them for their time for getting it done.
