XC70 2003 auto gearbox - AW55 or TF 80SC

I'm considering a 2003 Volvo XC70 2.5T with an auto gearbox, 90K miles. Now there are two types of automatic gearboxes, the AW55 and the TF 80 SC.

Can anyone telling me what type this is? I assume the AW55 without geartronic?

Should I wait and look further for an later type gearbox (PRND with shift options), or is this one the most reliable one (PRND43L)?

5 speed vs 6 speed, your car is AW55 5 speed

Not sure what was fitted for different markets but looks like that is a pre-geartronic model, so you may have the 4-speed AW50 there.

In any case, the TF80 wasn't introduced until MY2006 so it wont be that.

If it is the AW55 without geartronic, I don't see why it would be any less reliable. But if you do buy it, I would change the transmission fluid.
