Default Is this coolant suitable for a 2013 XC90?

Need to top up the coolant in my XC90. Is this coolant concentrate compatible?

Should I mix 60 / 40 water to coolant concentrate given it never freezes here?

Do I need to flush or just top up to near the max line? (currently a touch above the min line)

Thanks!

Keep the coolant ratio ar the level Volvo recommend - aside from stopping the engine from freezing, it also raises the boiling point so reduces the tendency to overheat. It also acts as a corrosion inhibitor, and you definitely don't want to dilute that effect.

Thanks, very good points. Never freezes here but definitely potential to overheat!

That's fine, but make sure it's the same colour as the stuff that's already in there.

I would be a little worried to use some less known brands.. for the long term. Volvo coolant concentrate may be surprisingly inexpensive, and needs be mixed with distilled water which is cheap.
