I drilled holes at both sides and I will add some anti-rust substance to it tomorrow. Didn’t had sufficient product at home right now. Thanks for reminding me!

Btw, a neighbor walked by when I was working on the car and he came back with a computer. He connected it to the car and it had tons of errors on the CEM module, but after resetting and running diagnostics, all of them except one were gone. So cleaning up the CEM module really did the trick.

Error remaining is the CEM-dd30 indicating it cannot communicate with the ACM.

I will track wires later this week, starting at the connectors themselves under the dashboard right where the CEM module is. All those wires are still sticky because the tape got wet, so if I’m lucky, there is just some bad connectors over there. I hadn’t really had a good look at them yet, so that’s the first thing I’m gonna do.

Computer gave no errors on the battery / generator / regulator / fuses, so that indication light must be triggered by the lack of communication between the CEM and ACM, because it cannot guarantee a properly functioning power service, we figured.
