My 2002 2.4 V70 on eBay with Medusa wheels
My V70 is on ebay...seeing as the wheels appear to be worth more then the whole car,the as is based around the wheels...exterior panels are actually very clean so may be of interest to someone with a white one.
Interior is cream leather and carpet/dash ect...all usable but not the best. Car is overheating, the bottom rad hose which comes from near the heater matrix hosees isn't getting any water flow back in to it once up to temp and then after several mins the water temp will obviously rise...when I need to im currently driving it locally with heaters on full. Car is in Harwich Essex and is where it will need collecting from.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-X-18-Vo...e-95c42e24cad9 |

I thought if this but the mechanic I and my mechanic have always used (now retired from day to day work)
He said it was a head off job and I dare not doubt him... however I think I'm going to have too before it's too late.... thermostat being checked tomorrow. |

If your trusted mechanic says it’s a head off job then it probably is however bear in mind that a thermostat is about £20 quid and may solve it. I think if it were me I would at least give it a go.

My thoughts exactly....also going to check the radiator out to make sure it's not blocked.

Solved the issue by removing thermostat...that could of been a costly loss of a car for no reason. Needless to say I'm now keeping the car...
