PS. Good luck with the sale AspieDad. If you love your R Design as much as I do your gonna miss it terribly.
It's not R-Design spec (boo!) but will miss it nevertheless. There aren't many answers to "What car can take a baby, large dog, and a week's worth of luggage for 500 miles in comfort?"!

Still here, oddly not had much interest which is disappointing. Can someone sanity check me whether I've priced it fairly???

You started on here at £7495, you've priced it at £6850 on Autotrader and there are lower mileage, similar age alternatives starting at £5500.
It always comes down to price, the competition and available buyers so as a casual observer, I'm unclear why your particular offering is priced in line with some but so much more than others.
Sure the timing belt being done is a positive but as someone who does all my own repair work, a fresh timing belt isn't that big a deal as it can be done cheaply DIY.
If the overall cost of an alternative car is significantly lower, your car may not represent especially good value.

It's holiday season too so I would imagine fewer people have £7k sloshing around but ultimately, if the price is right, the enquiries will come in.

Unfortunately even though it’s got a number of desirable options, it is the S spec or active with the base level seats and this hits values hard. Most have split seat bolsters but yours looks okay.

In general since the new model is now 5 years old, Mk 1 XC90 residuals have been hit hard this summer where they used to be class leading.

My advice would be put in on eBay as a classified ad, take no less than £250 below the asking price, drop it by £200 a fortnight until it sells...
