Question Cold Start 760 2.3 Turbo.

I have got my 760 running great when warm, after standing 9months, blowing up on motorway, etc, etc, and engine rebuild.(but) this cold weather she is a swine, untill fully warm. Starts in two turns of starter, runs a bit noisey for a minute. then starts her revving up and down for a few minutes. if it is attempted to drive, she jerks back and forth, almost like petrol starvation and sometimes 20mph is all that can be achieved. I have replaced injecter rubbers, FPR, cleaned air control valve, cleaned throttle body, and changed thermostat.(stuck wide open) and temp gauge to computer. What else is left (fuel filter maybe) What do you think Peter.!!!!! I am now at a loss. and has I say only when cold. M/Way mileage is around 27/30 if kept sensible. but town mileage is a differant story.
Anybody got any ideas. I will try anything.

Ignition problem? Are the plugs and leads in good condition? Correctly gapped?

Bit of a tricky one that. Strange that it's ok when it's warm.

Jim.

New plugs with proper gaps, leads appear to be ok, I had a faulty one but that was the snap on connecter, plus plug tops kept unscrewing, but done all that. I must admit it is strange because it is ok on a warm day. Going to clean every thing again next week. Right now Tenerife calls are stronger. Thanks anyway.

Problem now sorted. A squirt of carb cleaner in TB, adjusted throttle and throttle switch, Bingo all is fine. Thanks to those who tried to help.
