fitting baby seat in 740
Can anyone help me with the problem of getting a rear facing baby car seat that fits in my 1987 740 estate. The seat belts are not long enough and according to my local dealer volvo no longer do extensions or there own make on safety grounds.
Don't know if thats the kind of thing you cover here, but any help appreciated. Liz |

Fitting baby seat in 740
Hi Liz,
Same problem in the 760 - the belts are just too short (even for me with the seat right back, never mind a baby seat). I am about to try the belts from a 960 in the front. These are longer than the 7-series belts but I believe that the reels should still fit OK in the 7-series. I have not checked yet but it is possible that the seat anchor arms may need swapping also.
