Thumbs up

The weather looks like it could disappoint, however attend there is plenty of room inside. Let's get together and sort the next meet. We all have a view and know local places where a meet would work.
Summer is on it's way. I have ideas however you might know better. I would like all ideas.
Let us try to be as big and as good as Yorkshire. It would be a shame if not.
PS, on a funny note, bring a Whippet and a Flat cap, why disappoint !
Regards David.

Thumbs up Sunday 12th March Squires meet.

Thankyou to the following members, Skippyfox, DCW, Rooster,RNFOD2509,
who all attended the first meet.
The weather was kinder than first thought. We all had a good discussion and we agreed the next meet would be May at a location to be agreed.
As discussed by me before the idea of sharing the meets around yorkshire was agreed as a good idea. Now I can think of a couple South Yorkshire " Elsecar Heritage Centre", East Yorkshire Humber Bridge view point.
These are not set in stone any ideas welcome. All we need are car parking space food and drink nearby.
Anyone who can suggest locations that fit this criteria are welcome to do so the more the merrier do not be shy.
We have made a start so lets continue and build on this. I will be submitting a report to the Volvo club magazine with photos.

big thanks to Dave. From a tiny acorn a mighty oak shall grow.. On a lighter note, I have a flat cap, I can borrow a Whippet, can I bring a Ferret to the next meet? All in all not a bad day to get things rolling.

Thanks David for setting up an excellent start - it was a pleasure meeting all of you there!

Look forward to next time - I'll give thought to possible location ideas...

David

I know a decent place in Harrogate. "The Knox" It's a pub with a big car park and they do good grub. But I'm happy to go anywhere gives me a chance to give the Polar Bear a good run out. Mrs Skip gave the car it's name... big and white.. Her logic!!
