Default XC90 tow bar issue

Hi
I'm new to the scene and recently purchased a 2011 XC90.
When inspected the car before i bought it i tried to remove the tow bar and couldn't, i just thought it was seized a bit and i'd sort it. It is a factory fitted volvo removable unit.

I did notice in the MOT history before purchasing the car it did fail for the tow bar a couple of years ago due to excessive movement. When inspecting the car i honestly thought a new one had been fitted as it looked in great condition!

Anyway... under further inspection once i got the vehicle home i unbolted the tow ball housing and to my surprise the removable tow ball has been welded into the housing, a cheap fix. No MOT issues since so you could argue it does the job, however the wife has walked into a few times since putting back on and i've taken it off again because of this.

The electrics and beam are all fine, i want to replace the tow ball and housing. I can't seem to find this anywhere though, only a tow ball and no housing.
Brink have given me a ref number for a new one with a housing but no fitters seem interested in supplying, i just get a ''sorry we don't do that''.

Does anyone have a housing lying around? or maybe both?
I'd like to fix it on a budget without buying a whole new kit if possible but if i can't i guess i'll have to go for the whole lot, seems daft when everything else is fine.

Thanks All!
