Hi all,i,ve got the HU-850 unit and i get the CD ERROR message.I've tried the pulling the fuse out three time's with no success.Look's like the expensive root for me then.

If it's any help to anybody - I removed a CD a couple of days ago to listen to radio. Next time I wanted to play a CD I got cd error and could not insert. Eject button felt dead. Took it to experts - no joy - need to send unit away. Later, on instinct, tried multi cd changer select button (I do not have a cd changer) -display changed to Ch.3 Insert CD.Been fine ever since!

After spending $100 this morning to have the dealer tell me that there was an "internal fault" which would require replacing the entire HU-803 unit, at a cost of some $700, I found Volvoforums on the internet.

The suggestion in these threads that one try inserting another CD, angled slightly downward and gently pushed into the loading position, and then pressing the eject button worked! I have my CD player back. I checked and was able to play/eject the other three discs. (I note that there are a number of UK posters to the forum. Some of you may appreciate my happiness when my Verve Urban Hymns cd was returned to me by the player. I feel like a "Lucky Man" today.
