The issues at moment are.......

1, BOSS is too big and rubs against the steering rack trim, i have another BOSS thats not so wide on way
2, Indicators dont self cut off anymore so when new BOSS arrives its just a matter of putting 2 screws in place.......Simples
3, Need a spacer to bring wheel 1cm closer so knuckles dont rub against the stalks
any chance of pic from the the side?

could you also let us know where you got the boss from (2nd one thats on the way?) as i'm sure it'll help a fair few folks looking to fit a new wheel

did you have to get rid of the slip ring altogether? if so how'd you sort the horn?

all the best

I will post side pics when the better BOSS is on due to this 1 not fitting with the steering rack trim. I am waiting for the guy to come back from holiday to open shop again so not sure what car the BOSS is meant for yet. SORRY IM NO HELP AT MIN......
I kept the horn by connecting a wire to the slip ring wire - the new horn button - terminal and another wire from steering column to the + terminal on horn button.
I will show what i have done when it is complete with new BOSS and post pics of wires/wheel/BOSS ect...ect...
until its complete i feel its pointless showing a guide of whats NOT right lol

As for your airbag light, we have a tool that plugs into the harness at work that simulates the resistance whilst it's removed so you can still work on the motor.
If I remember right, they are not expencive either. I'm in work tonight, I'll dig it out and give you the part number.
I work for Volvo trucks, but as we share loads of components with the cars, it should work ok.

Thanks Sam i have emailed you the pics. The correct BOSS is for a MX5 but make sure you get the correct one as my first one was too big and rubbed against the steering column plastic trim really bad. Sam has pic of correct box and code.. I have not used the horn ring instead i have connected extra wire to the ring wire and thread it through the BOSS hole to the horn button and anothed wire direct from steering column to other horn button
